about
I was born and raised in Fruita, Colorado. With the life long goal of being an artist, I attended DU to get an art degree in ceramics. After I graduated in 2011, I spent some time at Anderson Ranch and then interned at the Art museum and worked at a gallery. Although I did not stick with ceramics, I fell back in love with painting. Inspired by Albert Bierstadt, I climbed all of Colorado’s 58 14,000k foot peeks and painted the views while on the summits. These 1’x 2’ acrylic paintings were painted 100% above 14k feet from 2014-2016. I plan on painting from the summits of the rest of the 14ers in the continental US before selling the originals.
I graduated as with a mechanical engineering degree from CU Denver in 2017, and am now going for my MBA while working for Ingersoll Rand. I hope to continue to enjoy nature, laugh, chase summits, and make as much art as possible. I’m available for mural commissions and live charity events (especially if they are to benefit children).
The best way to aquire one of my paintings is to attend an event that I donated to a painting to. I donate about 10 paintings/prints a year to raise money for non profits and various charities. Check out my events tab to find the next one!
